Homemade chili, milkshakes, and thousand island dressing make this a place that you can't pass by.

Well when you walk in there is a sign that says cook and waitress wanted. I would agree with that. The woman that met me was not a happy camper it was quite apparent that she would have much rather have been somewhere else. The first time into a place for breakfast I usually judge a place by there biscuits and gravy. I compare them to Flo's airport cafe at the Chino Airport in Chino California where at any given day the line to get in for their biscuits and gravy is up to an hour and a half. Well one of the biscuits here was hard as a rock. The gravy was not very flavorful. On the plus side it looked to be made from scratch but the sausage or what ever kind of meat that was in it looked to be cut up from frozen. That being said I will return to try other things. Might have just been an off day. My mom used to go here and get Indian taco's. This is my new hometown and I want them to do well.
That being said I revisited today. Staff was very nice. Eggs were cooked perfectly. Quite a few customers mostly locals. Which just goes to show you to not jump to conclusions from just one visit. Everyone has a bad day now and then. -

Service good. Food pretty good, average diner food. Ruben with chips, very messy. Would stop again, only place for miles.

Just had the best prime rib I have ever had! They only serve it on Saturday. Come and get it while they have it.

Friendly local cafe with a Sunday buffet of fried chicken or stuffed peppers with beans or mashed potatoes. Fried chicken tasted like what my Granma used to make, and it was the best! Bean soup like you wish your momma could make. Pecan pie is mostly filling with a layer of pecans. So sweet I could barely eat 1 1/2 pieces. While not fancy, it is excellent basic fare.
